one scene in the movie that i think is really good is when Gandhi makes his first speech and at first mostly everyone is against him but he makes key points.he says that they can bruise his body and break his bones and even kill him but then all they would have is his dead body and not his cooperation.after that statement everyone in the meeting was on his side.
another scene in the movie that i think is really good is when Gandhi decides to starve himself when he finds out that some of the marchers fought back when an Indian officer lost his temper.the marchers that got mad decided to set on fire a police station.they killed a few officers. Gandhi went on a hunger strike until all of India stopped marching.eventually they all stopped marching and some were walking in the street offering garlands to the officers and soldiers.

The salt march:The Salt March to Dandi also known as The Salt Satyagraha, was an act of protest against the British salt tax in Colonial India. Mahatma Gandhi along with his followers, walked from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi to make salt, and large numbers of Indians followed him. The British could do nothing because Gandhi did not incite others to follow him. The march lasted from March 12 to April 6, 1930.
